[Deflection]

I really like the key switches throughout the song, there's a detail that I find weird though, there are some strings at 0:19 that seemingly go completely out of the current key at times, and it sounds rather strange

Also it doesn't sound all that dancey imo, I feel it would actually fit within the music of an exploration video game

Interesting you spotted that. I saw the discordance early in the mix and tried to excise that very short element but it got away from me. Although if memory serves me correct I dropped the volume on it to mask it somewhat. Love to see Deflection in a game being a huge GTA5 fan.

did you use Sytrus a lot? some of the instruments sound like FM stuff

Most of the synths are pulled from FLEX. I'd like to learn how to really use Sytrus beyond picking presets but the UI is really damn complicated so I usually just stick to Serum lol
